Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A full-time opportunity for a licensed pharmacist is available to support multiple retail pharmacy locations across Iowa, with primary operations based in Dubuque. This contract role starts mid-July for a three-month term, offering weekday shifts with occasional Saturday half-days. Ideal candidates will be adaptable, willing to travel between sites up to 75 minutes apart, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense medications accurately under direct supervision, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. Provide medication counseling and advice, enhancing patient understanding and adherence. Address patient questions, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly. Manage stock levels, maintain controlled substance records, and conduct inventories. Resolve patient issues and assist with insurance coverage clarifications.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active pharmacist license in Iowa. Minimum of 1 year experience in a retail pharmacy setting. Comfortable managing a high volume prescription workload. Proficient with Mckesson Enterprise software is preferred.

Location and Schedule:

Work will involve floating between multiple sites including Dubuque (highest volume), Preston, Bellevue, Independence, and Monticello. Typical shifts run Monday to Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm or 9:00 am-6:00 pm, with occasional Saturdays (half-day).
