Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital in Boise, ID. This contract position offers a Monday through Friday day shift schedule, ideal for professionals seeking a consistent workweek. The assignment is set to begin ASAP and will last 13 weeks or longer.
Key responsibilities include:
Order verification to ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of medication orders Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain operational efficiency Collaborating and consulting with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care Managing pharmacokinetics and medication therapy adjustments as needed Utilizing Cerner electronic health record systems to support clinical operations The ideal candidate will possess: An active Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain one promptly Hospital pharmacy experience, particularly in rehab or acute care settings Strong communication and teamwork skills to facilitate collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Proficiency with Cerner or similar electronic medical record software
Schedule:
