Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a dynamic healthcare setting as a Pharmacist supporting a 40-bed rehabilitation hospital. This contract opportunity in the Boise area offers day shifts Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured workweek. The assignment is set to begin ASAP with a duration of 13 weeks or more, providing stability and valuable hospital pharmacy experience. In this role, your expertise will directly impact patient care through responsibilities such as order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and collaborating closely with nurses and physicians. You'll also apply your knowledge in pharmacokinetics to optimize medication therapies. The hospital utilizes Cerner as its IT system, so familiarity or the ability to quickly adapt to this platform is beneficial.
Key Qualifications:
Current Idaho pharmacist license or the ability to obtain it promptly Prior hospital pharmacy experience, preferably in acute or rehab settings Strong clinical skills, including pharmacokinetics and medication therapy management Effective communication skills for consulting with healthcare teams Ability to supervise and guide pharmacy technicians effectively
