Position:

We're hiring a Float Pharmacist (PRN / flexible schedule) to support Tamarack Post Falls Pharmacy (Post Falls, ID) and Tamarack Rathdrum Pharmacy (Rathdrum, ID). This role starts part-time with the opportunity to grow into full-time as volume builds across both stores. This is a great fit for pharmacists based in or near Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Dalton Gardens, Athol, Spirit Lake, Hauser, Post Falls, Rathdrum, or the greater Spokane area who are looking for PRN, float, or flexible-schedule pharmacist work. Because this position floats between two locations, we're looking for a pharmacist with reliable transportation who's comfortable traveling within the Coeur d'Alene / North Idaho corridor. Our two pharmacies are a short, easy drive apart.

Tamarack Pharmacy brings an independent, old-fashioned-service approach to Post Falls and Rathdrum, ID, proudly serving the Coeur d'Alene and North Idaho community with compounding, immunizations, med sync, and bubble packaging. Both locations are part of Cascadia Pharmacy Group (CPG), a Pacific Northwest network of independent pharmacies offering business administration support, along with collaboration and negotiating power.

This role covers ground in the heart of North Idaho - Post Falls and Rathdrum, just minutes from Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Dalton Gardens, Athol, Spirit Lake, and Hauser, and an easy drive from Spokane, WA. It's a region that blends small-town pace with easy access to city amenities: minutes from Coeur d'Alene Lake and downtown, and minutes from the rivers, forests, and outdoor recreation of North Idaho. What We Offer:

Compensation:

$65-$67 per hour

Schedule:

Mon-Fri 9am-6pm

Your Day-to-Day:

• Provide exceptional patient care and medication counseling at each location you support
• Manage daily pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and prescribers across both pharmacies
• Support clinical services: med sync, immunizations, compounding coordination, adherence packaging, patient education
• Float between Tamarack Post Falls and Tamarack Rathdrum based on staffing needs

What We're Looking For:

• Active pharmacist license in good standing (ID required, or willing to obtain)
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel/float between both locations
• Flexible schedule; comfortable with PRN or float pharmacist work and adapting to different store teams and workflows
