$65/HR We are seeking an experienced Licensed Pharmacist to join a leading specialty pharmacy in Elk Grove Village, IL. This onsite, full-time opportunity is ideal for pharmacists with experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, hospital pharmacy, or long-term care , who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Verify and dispense prescription medications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. Review and validate prescriptions, oversee pharmacy technicians, and support medication preparation and dispensing activities. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy, provide clinical recommendations, and address patient treatment concerns. Counsel and educate patients, families, and caregivers on medication therapy, adherence, and treatment plans. Conduct medication history reviews, monitor patient outcomes, and help manage therapy care plans. Participate in an on-call rotation and support other pharmacy operations as needed.
Qualifications:
Illinois Pharmacist license required (additional state licenses are a plus). Pharm.

D. preferred; degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy required. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed pharmacist . Experience in specialty pharmacy, home infusion, hospital pharmacy, or long-term care strongly preferred. Candidates with primarily retail pharmacy experience should also have experience in one of the specialty practice areas listed above. Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills (Microsoft Office proficiency). Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
