Job Description
Job Overview The Pharmacy Billing Adjudicator plays a critical role ensuring accurate processing of pharmacy claims and facilitating the reimbursement process. The ideal candidate will work closely with pharmacy staff, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing discrepancies. Duties Review and adjudicate pharmacy claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with payer guidelines. Analyze claim denials and rejections, determining appropriate resolutions or adjustments. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to gather necessary documentation for billing purposes. Skills Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills for resolving complex billing issues. Effective communication skills to interact with pharmacy staff, insurance representatives, and patients. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
