This role focuses on ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications while offering exceptional patient care and support. Pioneer Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately under the supervision of the pharmacy manager. Counsel patients on medication use, regimens, and potential side effects to promote adherence and safety. Respond to patient inquiries, concerns, or complaints in alignment with organizational policies and procedures. Maintain stock levels, controlled substances records, and perform regular inventory audits. Address and resolve patient-related issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage challenges.
Qualifications:
Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Illinois. Minimum of 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to offer compassionate patient education. Proficiency with Pioneer pharmacy software is preferred.
