Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 300-bed hospital in Quincy, IL is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to cover the overnight shift. This contract opportunity offers a 7-on/7-off schedule, working approximately from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The position is ideal for a pharmacist with a solid background in inpatient pharmacy and familiarity with hospital systems.

Responsibilities:

Manage and dispense medications for inpatients during the overnight shift. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, accurate medication use. Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems for medication orders and inventory management. Monitor for medication effectiveness and potential interactions. Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist in Illinois. At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience. Experience with EPIC electronic health records is highly preferred. Ability to work independently during overnight hours. Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
