The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications, providing exceptional customer service, and managing pharmacy operations. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while adhering to legal and ethical standards. Provide counseling to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Utilize pharmacy software for prescription processing, record keeping, and inventory management. Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement medical management plans. Skills Proficient in inventory management techniques to maintain optimal stock levels. Strong patient care skills with a focus on safety and effectiveness of medication therapy. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for efficient workflow management. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments for individualized care plans. Solid understanding of physiology and its application in medication management. Knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices within hospital settings is preferred. Ability to administer immunizations is required. Education Valid pharmacist license which must be in good standing.
