As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications by providing pharmaceutical care to patients, physicians and health practitioners. Your expertise and attention to detail will play a crucial role in improving patient outcomes and promoting overall wellness. Duties
  • Pre-verify, verify and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions in person and over the phone
  • Advise physicians and health practitioners on the interactions and side effects of medications
  • Proactively review prescriptions for proper dosage
  • Supervise and maintain records of all medications
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards Requirements To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program
  • Current state pharmacist license in good standing
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, anatomy, and medical management
  • Proficiency in utilizing pharmacy software systems for order entry and inventory management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing
  • Monday - Friday 20-25 hours per week part time, or 40 full time
