May consult with physicians about correct dosage and appropriate administration as well as discuss adverse reactions. Job Description

Minimum of a B. S. degree in Pharmacy from an accredited school of Pharmacy. A Pharm. D. degree and/or PGY1Residency preferred. Must be eligible for or hold a valid and current license as a Registered Pharmacist from the State Board of Pharmacy where services will be provided. If eligible must obtain this State licensure within 180 days. Additional certifications may be required for specified areas. One to two years hospital pharmacist experience preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications. Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
