Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract A retail pharmacist opportunity is available in Monon, IN, supporting a community pharmacy at a regional hospital. This contract role requires an Indiana-licensed pharmacist with retail pharmacy experience to ensure accurate dispensing, security, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products before release Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substances compliance Enter orders and patient information precisely using the pharmacy's order entry system, preferably PioneerRx Participate in 3 days of training/orientation prior to starting assignment
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Indiana pharmacist license Proven retail pharmacy experience, including order processing and patient interaction Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory standards
Schedule & Location:
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 6 pm (40 hours/week) Every other Saturday, 9 am to 6 pm for weekend coverage Local candidates only; the position starts June 29th and continues until a permanent hire is made Business casual dress code This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a community retail pharmacy setting, emphasizing patient safety and operational accuracy with a supportive training period.
