A Production Plant Foreman works with the Plant Manager or Supervisor in scheduling the activities of the employees and team leaders. Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Assist in assuring quality and safety of production procedures.

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor. Production works Mon-Thur, 10 hour shifts. Overtime as scheduled. SUMMARY Supervised and coordinates activities of production workers by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following, other duties may be assigned. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Maintains time and production records. Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials. Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Performs activities of workers supervised.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, are, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
