Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A closed-door pharmacy in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract to hire opportunity. Schedule & Hours:

Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday rotation

Responsibilities:

Checking and verifying stat medications, Ekits, and blister pack medications Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Reviewing and checking IV preparations to ensure accuracy and safety Supporting medication production goals in a fast-paced long-term care setting

Qualifications:

Current Kansas pharmacist license in hand Prior experience in long-term care highly preferred, with a solid understanding of workflow and production pace Pharmacy staff pharmacist experience with competency in verifying medications and supervising staff Open to candidates transitioning from retail pharmacy with a positive attitude and ability to adapt quickly Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a pharmacy focused on long-term care services.
