Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital in Berryton, KS is seeking two inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting September 21st. This role involves typical inpatient pharmacy duties including supervising pharmacy technicians and verifying medication orders. The schedule includes a mix of day and evening shifts with rotating weekends, providing variety in your workweek.
Responsibilities:
Oversee inpatient medication dispensing and administration Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with protocols Check and verify prescriptions accurately for patient safety Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapies
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred Must hold an active Kansas pharmacist license at the time of application Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends Open to first-time travel pharmacists ready to take on new opportunities
