A Telecommunications Field Technician telecommunications Field Service Technician installs, repairs and maintains voice, data and video systems for a company's customers at the customer site. Prepares and documents a customer's network prior to implementing telecommunication system. Installs IP, network equipment and facilities. Acts as the first point of issue resolution, responds to field engineering issues and troubleshooting telecommunication problems. May train less experienced field technicians.

Job Description
Field Technician II:
Serve as an onsite lead, directing, inspecting, and auditing technician work to ensure installation quality and consistency. Perform low-voltage installation and service work at customer sites, including configuring, troubleshooting, testing, and documenting results. Act as an escalation point in the field—communicating updates to project teams and helping drive issue resolution. Support training and coaching for internal team members and subcontractors to reinforce best practices and reliable installs. Travel throughout the region as needed and remain flexible with shifts and occasional work outside standard hours. Requirements for theField Technician II:
2+ years of Technician I experience (or equivalent low-voltage installation/service background) with proven field troubleshooting and testing skills Proficiency in at least 5 of the following: Voice, Data, Fire Alarm, Fiber, Burg Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Digital Signage, Access Points, Networking Ability to work independently in the field with minimal direction, while also serving as an onsite lead and escalation point Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and customer service skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Ability to travel as needed and perform physical job demands (climbing ladders, working in ceilings/overhead areas, and lifting up to 45 lbs) What's in it for you?
