Facility Cape Fear Valley Medical Center Location Fayetteville, North Carolina Department Pharmacy Administration Job Family Professional Work Shift Variable (United States of America) Summary Responsible for demonstrating clinical and operational knowledge and expertise as it relates to assessment, treatment, and care of patients at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. This knowledge and expertise cover the ages of patients (references Erickson's Model) that the pharmacist may serve and requires the pharmacist to produce results through clinical interventions. Reviews physician medication orders, checking for problems associated with dosages, interactions and incompatibilities; enters orders into computer and dispenses medications in accordance with the orders; supervises work of technicians and helps to train and orient new employees.
