Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A leading 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacy specializing in GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and functional medicine is seeking experienced pharmacy professionals for several key roles. Located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, these positions offer the opportunity to contribute to a high-quality pharmacy team focused on patient-centered care and compliance with regulatory standards.

Available Positions:
    Pharmacist Verification Role:

    This role involves verifying prescriptions with precision and ensuring accuracy in dispensing. Ideal for pharmacists experienced in home infusion and sterile compounding environments.

      Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Manager:

      A full-time leadership position responsible for overseeing all sterile compounding operations, including compliance with USP 797 and 800 standards. This role reports directly to the Pharmacist in Charge.

      Location:
      • On-site, Kansas City, KS (Pharmacist Verification)
      • On-site, Lenexa, KS (Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Manager)
      Responsibilities/Duties:
      • Verify prescriptions accurately to ensure patient safety and medication efficacy.
      • Oversee sterile compounding processes, ensuring adherence to USP 797 and 800 regulations.
      • Maintain compliance with all pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
      • Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
      • Support home infusion services and specialized medication preparations.
      Desired Experience and Qualifications:
      • Licensed Pharmacist with active state licensure.
      • Experience in home infusion pharmacy and sterile compounding practices.
      • Knowledge of USP 797/800 and other relevant compliance standards.
      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
      • Leadership experience preferred for the Pharmacy Manager role.
