Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A specialized sterile compounding pharmacy in Lenexa, KS, is seeking experienced pharmacy professionals for several on-site roles within a well-established 503A sterile and non-sterile compounding environment. This fast-growing facility focuses on GLP-1 medications, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and functional medicine, offering pharmacists an opportunity to work in a cutting-edge setting that emphasizes patient-focused care.
Key open positions include:
Verification Pharmacist /
Staff Pharmacist:
Responsible for reviewing and verifying prescriptions with attention to accuracy and compliance, ensuring quality and safety in medication dispensing. This role is ideal for pharmacists experienced in home infusion and sterile compounding.
Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Manager:
Oversee all sterile compounding operations, ensuring adherence to USP and standards. Manage compliance, staff, and workflow in the sterile compounding suite, reporting directly to the Pharmacy-in-Charge. Qualifications /
Desired Experience:
Licensed pharmacist with Illinois or Kansas licensure as applicable Experience with sterile (503A) and non-sterile compounding Familiarity with USP and compliance regulations Competence in verification processes for compounded medications Knowledge or experience in specialized therapies such as GLP-1 or HRT preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy and clinical teams
Location:
