Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established, closed-door Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy requires two Staff Pharmacists to support medication dispensing and quality control processes. This contract role offers the opportunity to contribute to a high-volume pharmacy serving nursing homes, managing 800-1000 prescriptions daily. You will work within a large team of more than 50 employees dedicated to providing precise and timely pharmaceutical care.
Location:
Meriden, KS (with operations based in Topeka)
Schedule:
Thursdays and Fridays 9:00 AM to 6:00
PM Key Responsibilities:
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) checks to ensure accurate medication dispensing Conduct cycle checking processes to monitor and maintain product integrity Verify prescriptions for accuracy and compliance with regulations
Qualifications:
Active Kansas Pharmacist License in good standing with no negative history Minimum of 1 year of pharmacology experience; LTC experience preferred but not mandatory New graduates and retail experience candidates are encouraged to apply Immediate availability to start work This role offers a chance to engage in a focused LTC pharmacy environment with consistent hours on Thursdays and Fridays, supporting vital healthcare services for nursing home residents.
