Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established, closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy serving nursing homes in Topeka, KS is seeking one Staff Pharmacist to join their dedicated team. This pharmacy processes between 800-1000 prescriptions daily and supports a robust staff of over 50 employees, providing a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Schedule and Location:
Thursdays and Fridays Shift:
9:00 AM - 6:00
PM Location:
Meriden, KS Key Responsibilities:
Perform Quality Assurance (QA) to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct cycle checking to maintain medication integrity Verify prescriptions and oversee dispensing processes
Qualifications:
Active Kansas Pharmacist License required Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience preferred; LTC experience a plus, but new graduates and retail pharmacy backgrounds will be considered Ability to start immediately is essential This contract assignment offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care by supporting medication delivery to nursing homes within a highly organized and well-supported pharmacy setting.
