Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A well-established, large closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy specializing in medication distribution to nursing homes is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their team. This pharmacy processes 800-1000 prescriptions daily and operates with a robust staff of over 50 employees, providing a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform quality assurance (QA) checks to ensure accuracy and compliance Conduct cycle checking of medication orders Verify prescriptions with attention to detail and adherence to protocols Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain smooth daily operations

Qualifications:

Active Kansas Pharmacist License required Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred but recent graduates and those with retail background are encouraged to apply Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Availability to start immediately

Schedule:
