Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A closed-door pharmacy in Topeka, KS seeks a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire position starting immediately. This role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with Saturday rotation, supporting long-term care medication needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and check stat medications, Ekits, and blister pack medications accurately and efficiently. Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure operational excellence. Review and check intravenous (IV) preparations for accuracy and compliance. Maintain workflow pace to meet production goals specific to long-term care pharmacy operations.

Desired Experience:

Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy is highly preferred, with a strong understanding of the workflow and pace. Candidates transitioning from retail pharmacy with a positive attitude and ability to maintain pace are encouraged to apply. Current Kansas pharmacy license in-hand required.
