Pharmacist

A locally owned, independent combo pharmacy is seeking a full-time and/or part time staff pharmacist. The pharmacy offers traditional retail with 2 drive-thru windows and free delivery, non-sterile compounding, and LTC at home to provide comprehensive clinical and dispensing services while utilizing the latest technology. Applicant job duties would consist of, but is not limited to, the following: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy. Lead and support the pharmacy staff in daily operations. Ensure pharmacy staff comply with all federal and state regulations and company policy and procedures. Possess strong multitasking abilities with excellent customer service skills (in person and via phone) with patients, providers, and insurance companies. Receive, assess, and dispense prescription orders, verify LTC blister packs, and administer immunizations. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, patient centered environment. Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree required. Active Kentucky Pharmacist license, in good standing. Immunization Certification preferred. Company offers convenient hours and flexible schedules. Health, Dental, and Vision insurance is offered after 90 days of employment.
