Long-Term Care About the Opportunity Specialty Rx is seeking a Licensed Pharmacist to join its Long-Term Care pharmacy team in Elizabethtown, KY. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist who enjoys collaborating with healthcare professionals and providing high-quality medication management to long-term care and assisted living communities. Key Responsibilities Review medication orders for appropriate drug selection, dosage, interactions, and administration. Ensure medications are accurately prepared, supplied, and labeled. Communicate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication-related questions. Supervise medication preparation. Recommend therapy changes when clinically appropriate. Investigate and resolve medication-related issues. Maintain accurate patient databases, including medical history and clinical/laboratory information. Support safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations. Qualifications Active Pharmacist License with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy required. Previous Long-Term Care pharmacy experience preferred. Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Reliable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Computer proficiency required; experience with Frameworks LTC is a plus. Ability to perform light lifting. Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
