Not a schedule you have to negotiate for, it's how the site is built. No counters. No walk-ins. Nobody standing in front of you while the phone rings. This is a closed door long term care pharmacy, so your shift is about accuracy and clinical judgment, not crowd control. And with only one weekend in three, your time off actually lands where you want it. What you'll be doing: Reviewing and verifying orders for long term care residents across the facilities the site serves Working with nursing staff and prescribers to resolve therapy questions, dosing queries and urgent requests Overseeing technicians on shift and keeping the evening workflow moving cleanly Clinical checks — interactions, duplications, dose appropriateness — with the time and quiet to do them properly Working with automated dispensing and pharmacy technology that takes the repetitive work off your plate The business A long term care pharmacy group that has been running for over 20 years and now serves hundreds of thousands of residents a year across close to twenty states. Kentucky is one of their newer sites, so you get the backing of a large national operation with the feel of a smaller local team. Growth has been steady rather than reckless, which usually means the resources are there when you need them.
