Key Responsibilities:

Perform accurate and timely order verifications to ensure safe medication dispensing. Collaborate effectively with physicians and nursing staff, providing consultation on medication management and patient safety. Utilize Cerner electronic health records and MedDispense systems to maintain efficient pharmacy operations. Participate in the continuous improvement of pharmacy protocols and patient care standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active Kentucky pharmacist license is required. Previous hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with clinical processes. Strong communication skills to liaise with healthcare professionals. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule and Location:

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Position located in Hardinsburg, KY, within a supportive critical access hospital setting.
