Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Provide your expertise as a Pharmacist supporting a 25-bed critical access hospital and an 18-bed skilled nursing facility located approximately 1.5 hours south of Louisville. This per diem opportunity offers a chance to contribute to quality patient care in a small hospital setting during a focused assignment.

October 12 through October 16
Shift:
7:00 AM to 3:30
PM Setting:
Critical access hospital with affiliated skilled nursing facility
IT Systems:
Cerner electronic health records and MedDispense automation
On-Call:
Not required
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmaceutical care Maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory standards Assist in medication preparation and distribution as needed
Desired Qualifications:
Current Kentucky Pharmacist license Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred Familiarity with Cerner and MedDispense systems is advantageous Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to patient safety and quality care standards This per diem pharmacist position is ideal for candidates seeking flexible, rewarding work in a supportive small hospital environment.
