Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A short-term opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a smaller critical access hospital located approximately 1.5 hours south of Louisville. This per diem position spans from October 12th to October 16th, offering a chance to apply clinical expertise in a focused hospital setting.
Facility Overview:
25-bed critical access hospital with an 18-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Utilizes Cerner electronic medical records and MedDispense for medication management
Schedule:
October 12th to October 16th Shift hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM No on-call responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Perform medication order verifications with accuracy and efficiency Collaborate actively with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care Manage pharmacy operations within a critical care and skilled nursing environment
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Kentucky Pharmacist license Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration Familiarity with Cerner and automated dispensing systems is a plus This role offers the opportunity to work in a close-knit clinical setting, providing impactful pharmaceutical services to a diverse patient population.
