This role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, providing essential pharmacy services that directly impact patient care quality. Responsibilities include verifying medication orders, collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to optimize pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with hospital protocols. Familiarity with Cerner and MedDispense IT systems will help facilitate seamless pharmacy operations and accurate record-keeping. Ideal candidates will hold a valid Kentucky pharmacist license and possess some hospital pharmacy experience, enabling them to navigate the unique challenges of inpatient and SNF pharmacy environments proficiently. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential to succeed in this role. This contract position is set to begin no later than October 12 and spans 13 weeks, with potential to transition to a permanent opportunity.
