This position offers a dynamic schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week, with varying and rotating hours to meet operational needs. Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and patient safety Supervise and mentor pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize therapeutic outcomes Provide pharmacokinetic monitoring to personalize medication regimens Utilize technology systems such as EPIC and Pyxis for precise documentation and medication management
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing Experience working in hospital or acute care settings Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems Strong communication skills to effectively consult with healthcare professionals Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
