Job Summary As a Pharmacist in Charge, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of pharmaceutical care within our healthcare facility. You will lead a dynamic team, managing pharmacy operations while providing exceptional patient service. Your expertise will be crucial in medication management, and patient assessment. Join us in making a significant impact on patient health and well-being! (The owner takes care of all the pharmacy DEA/Board of Pharmacy paperwork, etc.) What you'll do Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards, including HIPAA guidelines. Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on patient care and professional growth. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop tailored medication plans and provide critical care support. Manage inventory effectively, ensuring the availability of medications while minimizing waste. Utilize pharmacy software to maintain accurate patient records and streamline workflows. Stay current with advancements in pharmacology, medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology to enhance clinical decision-making. Basic qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) degree from an accredited institution. Active pharmacist license in good standing with Louisiana Board of Pharmacy Preferred qualifications Previous experience working with pharmacy technicians preferred but not required Previous experience working in an independent, family-owned pharmacy preferred but not required Previous experience working with "Computer RX" system a plus but not required (very user-friendly, you'll learn quickly) Why you'll love it here We are a growing independent, family-owned pharmacy, operating in a peaceful professional environment.
