Prepare and dispense medications accurately following physician requests and established protocols. Interpret drug orders and maintain precise electronic medication records. Compound and dispense sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals, including chemotherapy and nutrition products. Issue controlled substances responsibly while maintaining documentation compliance. Supervise pharmacy support staff and verify daily activities of pharmacy technicians. Provide pharmaceutical care services, including medication management, anticoagulation, and patient education. Ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient drug therapies aligned with hospital policies. Monitor patient drug regimens to prevent interactions and adverse reactions. Participate in clinical interventions such as medication reconciliation and stewardship activities. Support quality improvement initiatives and departmental record-keeping.What You Need:
Valid Louisiana Pharmacist License BLS or ACLS certification required; PALS preferred for pediatric practice Hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred Strong attention to detail, clinical judgment, and communication skills About theAssignment:
