Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in a 200+ bed community hospital in the Alexandria, LA area. This contract role offers a comprehensive clinical experience starting ASAP for a 13-week assignment. The hospital utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and Pyxis for medication dispensing, providing a modern healthcare environment.

Schedule & Hours:

Four 10-hour shifts per week Rotating schedule with varied shifts: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, or 12:30 PM-11:00 PM Every other weekend coverage required

Key Responsibilities:

Perform order verification to ensure accuracy and patient safety Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to provide clinical consultations Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and patient-specific medication adjustments Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
