Pharmacist Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our independent pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for practicing as a pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing expert advice to patients, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. Responsibilities Practice as a licensed pharmacist by accurately dispensing prescription medications to patients. Provide professional consultation and medication counseling to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety before dispensing. Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and ensuring proper storage of medications. Maintain detailed records of prescriptions and patient interactions in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety protocols. Educate patients on health management topics and promote wellness initiatives. Supervise pharmacy staff and assist in training new team members as needed. Qualifications Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist in the relevant jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing as a pharmacist within an independent pharmacy setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, medication management, and healthcare regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and advise patients effectively. Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in dispensing medications.
