Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance:

Serve as the official Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with the State Board of Pharmacy. Ensure full adherence to federal and state laws, including strict maintenance of the controlled substance records and logs.

Daily Operations:

Oversee the daily monitoring of pharmaceutical inventory, drug stocking, and medication supplies.

Team Leadership:

Supervise, train, and mentor pharmacy technicians and junior staff. Cultivate a collaborative, efficient team environment.

Patient Care:

Safely dispense medications, review prescriptions for accuracy, and provide comprehensive clinical counseling to patients regarding drug usage, dosages, and potential risks.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure all pharmacy personnel strictly follow proper pharmaceutical procedures, sanitation standards, and corporate workflows.

Qualifications & Skills Education:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.

Licensure:

Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Pharmacist in the State of Louisiana (or actively in the final stages of the reciprocal/licensure process).

Experience:

Previous management or supervisory experience is highly preferred but not required.
