Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist seeking a position within a specialty pharmacy environment focused on Medication Therapy Management (MTM). The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for extension or direct hire after an initial 13-week period.

Location:

Onsite in Zachary, LA (near Baton Rouge).

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00

PM Responsibilities:

Perform pharmacist duties in a specialty pharmacy setting, emphasizing medication therapy management and production work. Ensure accurate dispensing and management of pharmaceuticals in compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient medication outcomes. Maintain meticulous records and support operational initiatives within the pharmacy.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current Louisiana pharmacist license is required. Must hold an active pharmacy license in at least one of the following states, with the ability and willingness to reciprocate licensure in others: Alaska, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wyoming. Previous experience in retail and/or specialty pharmacy settings. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and MTM practices.
