Job Description
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A licensed pharmacist is needed to provide professional dispensing and patient care services in an outpatient/retail pharmacy attached to a hospital setting. This 13-week contract assignment is located on Nantucket, MA, offering day shift hours with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week. The position will start as soon as possible to cover a current vacancy.
Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients in an outpatient/retail pharmacy setting Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care Maintain compliance with state laws and hospital policies Manage inventory and help maintain pharmacy operations efficiently Provide excellent customer service with a positive, professional attitudeDesired Experience and Qualifications:
Active Massachusetts pharmacist license (required) Retail pharmacy experience preferred Full-time availability to work scheduled day shifts Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team Adaptability to living and working in a unique island environmentLocation and Work Environment:
