Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Support retail pharmacy operations in multiple Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) clinics across the Baltimore area with a per diem role requiring 1-2 days per week. This position offers a dynamic work environment where managing pharmacy technicians, counseling patients, and administering vaccines are key responsibilities. Flexibility to float among several locations is essential.
Locations include:
Highlandtown Belair St. Agnes Rosedale Yard 56
Schedule & Hours:
Per diem, 1-2 days per week as needed Day shifts, Monday through
Saturday Responsibilities:
Conduct typical outpatient pharmacy duties, including medication dispensing and patient counseling Manage pharmacy technicians effectively Administer immunizations and vaccines Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations similar to hospital settings Utilize ScriptPro software (training provided) Adapt to a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience Strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of 340B drug pricing program highly preferred Spanish language skills are a significant plus Active Maryland pharmacist license required Prepared for health screenings consistent with hospital compliance standards This per diem opportunity allows you to apply your retail pharmacy skills while gaining valuable experience in FQHC environments, serving diverse patient populations across multiple community locations.
