• National Institutes of Health (NIH) | Bethesda, MD GLC Government Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated IV Pharmacist to support a government contract at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

Schedule:

Candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.

PM Qualifications:

Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy preferred Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association Minimum one (1) year of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required Demonstrated experience in sterile compounding and Intravenous Admixture Unit (IVAU) operations required PGY1 or PGY2 residency training preferred Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy, infusion services, and/or unit dose distribution strongly preferred Ability and willingness to float between Unit Dose and IV departments as needed Strong teamwork, communication, and independent decision-making skills Key Responsibilities Prepare sterile compounded medications, including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products Compound, formulate, prepare, dispense, and ensure proper handling and preservation of medications Support investigational drug services and assist in developing specialized formulations to meet unique patient needs Provide clinical consultation and guidance regarding medication therapy and appropriate drug utilization Participate in pharmacy operations, quality initiatives, and administrative activities supporting hospital pharmacy services Maintain compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies If you are an experienced hospital pharmacist with a strong background in sterile compounding and IV services, we encourage you to apply and become part of a team supporting one of the nation's leading healthcare and research organizations.
