Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide support across multiple FQHC health clinic pharmacies in the Baltimore area. This role requires flexibility to float among several sites, offering outpatient pharmacy services including managing technicians, counseling patients, and administering vaccines.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties with accuracy and professionalism Oversee and collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow Counsel patients on medication use and health concerns Administer vaccines and immunizations following established protocols Adapt to fast-paced clinic environments while maintaining compliance with health and safety screenings
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-volume setting Knowledge of 340B program highly preferred Comfortable using ScriptPro software; training provided if needed Spanish language skills are a significant plus
Location and Schedule:
Positions available across multiple Baltimore-area clinic pharmacies with locations in Highlandtown, Belair, St. Agnes, Rosedale, and Yard 56 Per diem schedule, averaging 1-2 days per week as needed Day shifts available Monday through Saturday Immediate start following orientation This per diem role offers the chance to work in an engaging outpatient pharmacy setting while impacting community health at federally qualified health centers. Candidates should be prepared for comprehensive health screenings similar to hospital placements.
