Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Support multiple Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) pharmacies in the Baltimore area as a per diem retail pharmacist, working 1-2 days per week. This position requires flexibility to float between several sites, including locations in Highlandtown, Belair, St. Agnes, Rosedale, and Yard 56. Orientation and start are ASAP, with day shifts available Monday through Saturday.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform typical outpatient pharmacy duties, including verifying prescriptions, managing pharmacy technicians, and counseling patients. Administer vaccines and immunizations to patients. Adapt to a fast-paced retail environment while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Maintain high standards in accuracy and patient safety within the 340B program framework. Utilize pharmacy software, primarily ScriptPro; training provided if needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage technicians and multitask efficiently. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply. Familiarity with 340B program regulations is highly preferred. Pharmacist license valid in Maryland required.
Location:
Must be willing to travel to and work at multiple pharmacy sites throughout Baltimore, Maryland.
