Overview Pharmpro is a seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Columbia, MD. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert pharmaceutical care, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards within a hospital setting. Maryland Licensed Pharmacist 12 Week contract

Shedule:

M-F 8am to 5pm? Start ASAP Some compounding/Infusion Management or Oversite of Pharmacy Technicians Evaluate physician medication orders for drug appropriateness, correct dosage, potential drug interactions, and proper route of administration. Provide clinical recommendations to physicians and facility staff regarding medication therapy changes and optimizations. Maintain up-to-date patient/resident profiles, including medical history, lab results, and current medications (prescription, OTC, and home remedies). Ensure laboratory tests required for monitoring high-risk medications are appropriately ordered, reviewed, and communicated to the healthcare team. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide clinical and technical support. Document all communications and clinical interventions in the patient's medical record, including interactions with families and caregivers. Implement and enforce policies and procedures for the safe procurement, storage, administration, and disposal of medications and biologicals. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice and medication management.

Pay:
