Dispensary Staff Pharmacist

The Dispensary Staff Pharmacist is a registered Pharmacist who is responsible for providing an outstanding patient experience while maximizing revenue goals and assisting the General Manager in leading the development of the dispensary staff and ensuring compliance with regards to the DOH regulations and system protocols. This individual should be enthusiastic about the benefits of medical cannabis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES

Become proficient with the point-of-sale system (MJ Platform and Dutchie) Maintain all confidential information according to HIPAA policies and procedures Conduct over-the-phone, in-person, and other approved methods of consultations and follow-up to ensure that patients receive accurate and helpful information in a caring and compassionate way Continuous investment in learning about our specific products and the ever-evolving research on medical cannabis Ad to and promote a culture of positivity, professionalism and compliance of policies and cannabis rules and regulations Follow Standard Operating Procedures and all company programs for customer service, patient and visitor management, state compliance and safety and security guidelines Guide patients and collaborate with employees on cannabis recommendations including product selection, effects, potency, dosing, methods of consumption, and administration Report all issues or complaints relating to product to the General Manager/Management Team in real-time Work with the Lead Dispensary Pharmacist on the following but not limited to: Training new hired Pharmacists Executing in-house training for dispensary staff Ensuring Compliance is followed by means of licenses and certificates, etc. Collaborate with the lead pharmacist and other colleagues to develop educational materials/references for use amongst staff members or in patient consults Ensure appropriate documentation of consults is occurring within the dispensary to allow for continuity of care between all patients and medical professionals

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of either a BS Pharm or PharmD from an accredited university Must hold an active pharmacy license, be a registered medical professional in Pennsylvania and have completed the PA DOH requirement of the 4-hour Continuing Education course for Medical Professionals Encouraged to have cannabis knowledge and experience Must be willing to submit and pass a comprehensive background Dedicated and personal communication skills along with the ability to thrive within a demanding environment Will report directly to the Lead Dispensary Pharmacist Strong compliance and regulation attitude Excellent oral and written communication skills MS Office proficient with ability to utilize and navigate multiple software platforms with ease Complete any needed assistance including oversight and coverage outside of assigned region as needed Identify opportunities to educate the community on the benefits of cannabis as medicine for the qualifying conditions Must be flexible regarding work schedule and willing to work 40-45 hours per week including evenings, weekends, opening, and closing
