Job Description

Job Overview New independent retail-pharmacy coming to town. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient assessment, and pharmacy practices. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing pharmaceutical care, educating patients on medication use, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes, as well as business development. Duties Review and interpret physician orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medication therapy. Dispense medications accurately while providing patient counseling on proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions. Conduct patient assessments to evaluate medication effectiveness and safety. Administer immunizations as required by state regulations. Manage pain management protocols and provide clinical support in acute care settings. Participate in clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and drug utilization reviews. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop treatment plans that meet individual patient needs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Mentor pharmacy residents and students during their training periods. Undestand copay card billing Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.

D.) or a Registered Pharmacist in the state of MI. Active pharmacist license in the state of Michigan. Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate medication administration. Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry advancements. Pay:
$50.00 - $70.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
