Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A busy outpatient pharmacy located adjacent to a major hospital in downtown Kansas City, MO, is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support its high-volume operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing essential pharmacy services to a diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
Verify, check, and accurately fill prescriptions in a timely manner Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and quality standards Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Utilize EPIC pharmacy information system for prescription management and record-keeping Provide excellent customer service and patient counseling as needed
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in good standing Experience working in an outpatient pharmacy setting preferred Proficiency with EPIC or similar pharmacy IT systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while maintaining teamwork and communication
Location:
Downtown Kansas City, MO, adjacent to the main hospital building
Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, day shifts This contract opportunity is set to start as soon as possible and extends for 13 weeks or longer, with potential for temp-to-hire consideration based on performance and fit.
