Description
  • Use EPIC dispense prep to verify and check medications, kits, crash carts, prepack items, and other as needed.
Why is the position open? 4 FMLA coverages all overlapping this winter What is the likelihood this position will be extended beyond 13 weeks if the candidate is performing well? Very likely for 1+ extension What will training consist of/how long will training be? Since this is primarily product verification, training will be 2-3 weeks depending on capability of pharmacist. What does their day to day look like in the hospital? Coordinating workflow in the central pharmacy, checking medication product (IVs, premade IVs, creams, insulin pens, etc.) checking code carts have been restocked correctly. Any insight into the team size/work environment? CENTRAL pharmacy staffs 5 pharmacists and 10 technicians on day shift and 2 pharmacists and 5-6 technicians on evening shift. This pharmacist is the primary pharmacist to oversee central pharmacy operations where the other pharmacists are doing more order review within the EHR. Requirements
  • 1 year of Registered Pharmacist experience New Grads are eligible to apply
BLS Missouri Pharmacist Licensure Pay:
$2,600.00
