Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem A specialty HIV/AIDS and 340B retail pharmacy is seeking a Per Diem Pharmacist to provide coverage from August 20 to September 17. This role involves typical retail pharmacy duties with a focus on supervising pharmacy technicians and supporting patients with specialty
HIV/AIDS
medications. The position is located in a retail setting, supporting a team with technician assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure smooth daily pharmacy operations Dispense specialty HIV/AIDS and other retail medications accurately and efficiently Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and adherence, particularly related to
HIV/AIDS
therapies Utilize Pioneer Rx pharmacy software for prescription processing and inventory management Ensure compliance with 340B program policies and regulations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid pharmacist license and relevant pharmacy education Experience working with
HIV/AIDS
specialty medications strongly preferred—please highlight any such experience in your application Familiarity with retail pharmacy procedures and operations Proficiency with Pioneer Rx software is a plus; please specify your experience if applicable Ability to manage and mentor pharmacy technicians effectively Prefer candidates local to the area for ease of coverage
