Job Description

National Healthcare company is hiring a Pharmacist in the greater Apex, North Carolina area! The company is a complementary home- and community-based health services for complex populations in need of specialized and/or chronic care. We focus on providing quality outcomes, through best-in-class service and technology capabilities.
Responsibilities:
The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for managing home infusion therapies through a combination of clinical oversight, sterile compounding, and operational workflow support using CPR+.This role includes reviewing referrals for appropriateness (drug, dose, route, labs), completing new patient starts and refills, performing medication reconciliation and patient counseling, monitoring lab-dependent therapies, and coordinating care with providers and nursing.

The pharmacist is also responsible for accurate prescription entry, documentation, and claim adjudication, as well as preparing and verifying sterile compounded medications, ensuring proper labeling, lot tracking, and compliance with USP standards. Additional responsibilities include supervising pharmacy technicians, supporting production and delivery workflows, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely, safe medication dispensing and delivery in a fast-paced home infusion environment.
Requirements:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.

Licensed by the state of North Carolina pharmacy board.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday with rotating shifts (8:00 AM-5:00 PM, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM) and required evening and weekend on-call coverage. Overtime available as needed. Contract to start with long term potential
