Full Job Description Primary Functions:
Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, is responsible for the operations of the pharmacy including dispensing, scheduling, distribution, CQI, regulatory compliance and supervision of pharmacy personnel.
Major Responsibilities:
Performs distribution of pharmaceutical products, ancillary supplies and equipment Ensures compliance with CQI program, licensure, and regulatory requirements as they relate to pharmacy Assures appropriate clinical monitoring of patients Assists with pharmacy inventories Assist in obtaining/completing billing information and documentation Pharmacy CQI indicators Prescriptions, pick lists, drug profiles, and other documents as required by law or company Ensures pharmacy compliance with HPC's policies and procedures Conducts in-services as required/requested Participates in patient safety, quality, and infection control programs as directed Required workload would be as needed
